ITG Brands carries at its core, the mindset that, to succeed, a company must treat its people well and give them the tools they need to win.  ITG Brands is currently seeking Boiler Attendant personnel at our Operations facility located in Greensboro, North Carolina.



  • Operates and maintains boilers and the various equipment involved in boiler operations.
  • Ensures equipment operates safely, economically, and within established limits by monitoring meters, gauges, and computerized controls.
  • Observes and listens to machinery and rountinley checks safety devices identifying and correcting any trouble that develops.
  • Lubricates moving parts and removes soot and corrosion that can reduce the boiler’s operating efficiency.
  • Tests and treats boiler feed water. Injects chemicals to prevent corrosion and harmful deposits. 
  • Maintains a record of relevant events and facts concerning the operations and maintenance of the equipment.
  • Observes, controls, and records steam pressure, temperature, water level, chemistry, fuel consumption and emissions from the boiler.
  • Maintain a professional and safe work environment by ensuring all assigned areas are kept clean and free of hazards.


Job Requirements


  • Candidates must be a high school graduate or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years experience a Boiler Attendant operating and maintaining high pressure boilers
  • Candidate muse have knowledge of boiler chemistry.
  • Candidate must possess a second class engineer license issued by the National Institute for the Uniform Licensing of Power Engineers, Inc. or equivalent.
  • Completion of an approved apprenticeship program or trade school graduate is preferred.
  • Candidates with equivalent U.S. military training and related boiler attendant experience will also be considered.
  • Candidates must be able to work any of 3 shifts and overtime, including weekends and holidays, as necessary.
  • Candidates will be required to pass a sample shop test.
