ITG Brands carries at its core, the mindset that, in order to succeed, a company must treat its people well and give them the tools they need to win.  We are currently searching for an Email and CRM Manager for our Marketing department headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina. ITG Brands is currently supporting an in-office/remote workplace hybrid model for this opportunity.


Job Summary:

Responsible for planning and executing email segmentation strategies, lead nurturing, retention strategies, and development of the email marketing channel. The ideal candidate must be well versed with marketing automation and lead generation strategies. Partners with cross-functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute all email programs.



Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Owns strategy and implementation of CRM and email marketing processes and campaigns.
  • Develops, tests, executes email marketing campaigns to acquire, convert and retain prospects/customers and generate revenue.
  • Develops data driven retention strategy and customer journeys using advanced audience segmentation developed in Optimove.
  • Develops all B2C email and push marketing infrastructure, maintenance and dissemination (list management, deliverability, email creation and design, database management etc.)
  • Manages projects for CRM programs, Email marketing, SMS, and browser push messaging.
  • Increases open rates by split testing send time, frequency, personalization, and proactive anti-churn tactics.
  • Responsible for compiling, analyzing and leveraging performance data to both identify optimization within the current business and new opportunities for growth.
  • Defines KPIs and presents retention analytics to management on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborates with Digital Acquisition Manager to develop clear CRM marketing strategies and processes to improve customer engagement throughout the entire customer experience, such as, developing segmentation and personalized programs using customer data.
  • Collaborates on all customer touch points post-acquisition, both promotional and transactional.
  • Manages email deliverability, database hygiene, and compliance with opt-in laws and regulations as well as ensuring compliance with CAN-SPAM regulations.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.


Job Requirements

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field of study and 5+ years related work experience
  • Experience to include, but is not limited to:
    • 1+ years of supervisory experience
    • Relevant experience creating the strategy and executing campaigns within a marketing automation or email marketing platform

Knowledge of:

  • Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams
  • Proficiency with email best practices, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and marketing analytics
  • Optimove or similar ESPs (e.g., Marketo, Pardot, Sailthru)
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and coding against a wide range of email clients.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance of responsive email templates across multiple mail clients with Litmus or a similar technology

Preferred Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in related field of study
  • 3+ years Supervisory / managerial experience


Work Environment and Physical Demand:

  • Requires moderate physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Walks, sits, or stands for extended periods.
  • Requires prolonged machine operation including vehicle, computer, and keyboard equipment.
