Job Description

We are seeking, an FP&A Business Partner at our Corporate Office located in Greensboro, North Carolina.

 

In this role, you will report to the Senior Director of Corporate Finance. As an FP&A Business Partner with various functional leaders and brand marketing, this position will provide financial consulting and strategic support in order to drive optimal business decision making across multiple levels.  The position will be responsible for driving portions of the ITG Brands monthly financial forecast, annual budgeting process, variance analysis, and special projects.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, and expenses.
  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
  • Prepare, on a monthly basis, a reconciliation/report on overhead spending by department.
  • Assist brand marketing with brand P&L forecasting.
  • Assist functional leaders with quarterly cost center forecasting.
  • Assist with the preparation of the monthly profit forecasts, in particular, providing supporting analysis for assumptions.
  • Performs quantitative analysis of operational and financial data.
  • Builds and manages financial databases by organizing and analyzing a wide range of data sources.
  • Prepares financial reports for internal use at the company by collecting, analyzing, formatting, and presenting the information.
  • Evaluates new projects and investment opportunities by comparing them with each other.
  • Builds budgets and forecasts of future company performance.
  • Builds and maintains a corporate financial model that details the company’s operations and projects future performance.
  • Performs ad hoc analysis for executives as required.
  • Provide financial and analytical support on ad hoc projects as necessary.
  • Assist with monthly internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
  • Provides rationale behind reports and analysis and relays them in simple terms.
  • Adheres to general standards to promote a cooperative working environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships, and team building.

 

Job Requirements

Job Requirements 

  • BS/BA degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • 4 years of related work experience.
  • Ability to analyze financial data.
  • Experience in organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks independently.
  • Competent oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets.

 

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with BPC or SAP a plus.
