ITG Brands carries at its core, the mindset that, in order to succeed, a company must treat its people well and give them the tools they need to win.  We are currently searching for a Manager, Records Management for our Corporate office located in Greensboro, North Carolina. 


Job Summary:

Responsible for the management and implementation of enterprise-wide records management policies, programs and procedures as well as related compliance initiatives.



Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and implement enterprise-wide records management policies, programs and procedures, and related compliance initiatives.
  • Responsible for enforcing records management policies and procedures for the creation, retention, and disposition of physical and electronic records.
  • Establish and maintain records retention schedules by identifying company business records, by conducting departmental audits, by coordinating revisions to schedules, and by assisting departments in interpreting and implementing schedules.
  • Collaborate with and provide guidance to department heads on records management issues.
  • Supervise and administer the issuance of legal document holds/destruction suspensions.  Work with the Legal Department and with outside counsel on preparation and distribution of legal hold notices and on related issues.
  • Serve as the technical lead/project manager for all records management software applications, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of these applications.
  • Maintain inventory of electronically stored information and meet with the Legal Department and with outside counsel on issues related to the identification and retention of electronically stored information.
  • Manage, control and direct Records Center and external storage facilities to ensure that company records are maintained properly and in accordance with business policies and legal requirements.  Supervise the intake/receipt, storage, and transfer of inactive physical and electronic records and supervise the disposition of company records.
  • Manage consumer rights requests under the California Consumer Privacy Act
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned


Job Requirements

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study and 5+ years related work experience or Associate’s degree and 7+ years related work experience to include, but not limited to:
    • Experience in establishing, implementing, and enforcing records management policies and associated records retention schedules, including applicable automated records systems and records management software.
  • 1+ years supervisory/managerial experience


Knowledge of:

  • Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams

Preferred Qualifications:


Education and Experience:

  • Active participation in records management organizations.

Work Environment and Physical Demand:


  • Requires light physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves light objects (under 10 lbs.).
  • Walks, sits, or stands for prolonged periods.
  • Requires prolonged machine operation including computer and keyboard equipment.
