ITG Brands carries at its core, the mindset that, in order to succeed, a company must treat its people well and give them the tools they need to win.  We are currently searching for an Sr. Manager, Indirect Procurement for our Operations team headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina. ITG Brands is currently supporting an in-office/remote workplace hybrid model for this opportunity.


Job Summary:

Responsible for all aspects of indirect procurement ensuring material, supplies, equipment, parts, and services meet all regulatory, quality, and budgetary requirements, driving maximum benefit across all indirect areas of spend.         



Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads and drives maximum benefit across all indirect areas of spend across all ITGB perimeter
  • Drives transformation across the function and capability build for a ‘fit-for-future’ organization
  • Aligns procurement strategy to the business needs, ensuring effective delivery of benefits through collaboration with markets and local factory teams
  • Builds strong business partnerships with key stakeholders, ensuring that commercial delivery and internal service are equally balanced
  • Manages relationship with the central procurement team to drive maximum benefit in global and center-led categories
  • Leads the indirect team responsible for delivering strategic commercial agreements which optimize value for money
  • Develops and embeds the highest standard of procurement practice in line with 1Procurement standard process and policies
  • Supports the implementation of 1Procurement standard processes, offering advice and guidance as necessary.
  • Responsible for ensuring early procurement engagement in significant spend areas to maximize impact
  • Develops deep product and supplier knowledge to drive continuous improvement within the spend managed
  • Ensures contingency planning is in place for all key suppliers and services
  • Manages relationships and performance of key strategic suppliers
  • Raises instances of non-compliance to ITGB internal customer ways of working
  • Ensure adequate analysis and planning is undertaken to enable effective supplier negotiations which deliver a world class cost base
  • Responsible for tracking perimeters benefits and value add
  • Raise awareness of the role of 1Procurement within the organization
  • Manages team of direct reports including, but not limited to, career development
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned


Job Requirements

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study and 5+ years related work experience
  • Work experience to include, but is not limited to:
    • Indirect categories portfolio
    • 3+ years Management / Supervisory experience
      • Leading Procurement teams in a cross-country, cross cultural environment, ideally including Procurement category solutions

Knowledge of:

  • Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams
  • SAP or similar ERP system
  • Procurement spend tools and analytics

Preferred Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • 7+ years related work experience in a regulated environment (e.g., automotive, aerospace, medical device, pharma, et cetera)
    • 3+ years Managerial/Supervisory experience leading a procurement team
    • Delivery of cost reduction programs
    • Demonstrated structured approach to planning and use of problem solving tools.

Work Environment and Physical Demand:

  • Requires moderate physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Walks, sits, or stands for extended periods.
  • Requires prolonged machine operation including vehicle, computer, and keyboard equipment.
