ITG Brands carries at its core, the mindset that, in order to succeed, a company must treat its people well and give them the tools they need to win.  We are currently searching for a Supervisor, Manufacturing for our Operations facility located in Greensboro, North Carolina.


In this role, you will work with and report directly to the Director Manufacturing Operations and will supervise and direct the activities of the Making, Filter Rod, Packing, and Production Maintenance hourly personnel by providing leadership, team building, and technical guidance.  The Supervisor, Manufacturing will be accountable for maintaining high-speed cigarette making and packing equipment in a condition to achieve the production schedule and departmental KPIs defined for safety, quality, budgeted cost, and performance expectations.

Job Requirements


  • Supervises and directs the planned operating production, preventive maintenance, and mechanical repairs of all making, filter rod, and packing equipment to meet or exceed safety, quality, and productivity standards.
  • Maintain a viable Safety program in your assigned area to assure the Safety and well-being of all employees by complying with Safety standards, LOTO, and departmental Safety Goals.
  • Ensures quality production standards are maintained by examining the output, checking finished product, conducting physical examinations of testing devices, tagging and/or removing nonconforming products, and monitoring employee use of inspection equipment and compliance to the trained Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Supervise the assigned staff for accuracy of detailed work, manufacturing processes, machine set-up, Brand Changes, overall equipment operation, recordkeeping, safety, housekeeping, procedures, and responsibility associated with the area of GMP and FDA guidelines.
  • Uses Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodology and implements Corrective Action (CA) solutions to reduce or eliminate downtime, quality defects, and accidents
  • Utilizes Machine Information Systems (MIS), SAP, Business Objects, and other machine and maintenance data systems to identify machine performance trends.
  • Supervises maintenance/repairs of high-speed manufacturing equipment and assists with spare parts management by locating parts, evaluating stock levels, requesting spare parts set up, and requisitioning parts necessary to support manufacturing equipment.
  • Provides technical leadership while building Teamwork through guidance, coaching, and support to facilitate problem-solving.
  • Identifies training needs of assigned operators and fixers. Works with the training department(s) to scheduling training and evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma / GED and 7+ years related work experience OR
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field of study and 3+ years related work experience
• 3+ years of supervisory experience

Knowledge of:
• Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams

Preferred Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field of study and 5+ years related work experience
• 3+ years of supervisory experience

Knowledge of:

• SAP or similar ERP system

Work Environment and Physical Demand:

• Requires light physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves moderate to heavy weight objects (10-50 lbs.).
• Walks, sits, or stands for prolonged periods.
• Use of manual dexterity and fine motor skills
• Requires prolonged machine operation including computer and keyboard equipment.
