The role
- JOB SUMMARY
The Customer Marketing Intern will focus on performing an in-depth analysis on effectiveness of Point-of-Sale Material (POSM) deployed in all channels of our business, impact on consumer purchase behavior. POSM is one of the key elements utilized to drive brand equity, awareness, promotional values, overall promote brands. Identifying effectiveness of POSM element will assist us with developing strategic approach to pieces we continue to deploy in the market that drive value for the business.
- WHAT YOU WILL DO
Understand, integrate various data-driven technology sources to include SFA, Snaps2Insight, the Vault
Understand current POSM forecasting, ordering, placement process by zone, priority
Analyze effectiveness of POSM material utilizing return on investment (ROI) calculations
Provide recommendations on POSM to be leveraged based off effectiveness, research findings
Key accountabilities
- REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Be a student who has completed coursework toward an undergrad degree in Marketing or a related field
- Be interested in Marketing
- Be intermediate-advanced in MS Office products
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
At ITG Brands, interns are assigned challenging projects that create opportunity for exposure to other aspects of the business. As an Intern, you will:
- Participate in an important summer project
- Develop project management skills, providing clear plans and milestones to drive the project to completion
- Deliver a project presentation to members of the Executive Leadership Team, including the President & CEO
- Possess honed skills in Excel
- Demonstrate ability to work independently, use initiative, and complete the project while working with various stakeholders within the organization
- Develop communication skills enabling effective collaboration and relationship building across various levels of the Company
- Gain basic understanding of the activities of a classic consumer goods products company
- Be invited to attend Company social events
