What You Will Do

- JOB SUMMARY

Serve as company’s expert on all matters pertaining to assigned brand(s), brand consumers, competition, and the marketplace. Initiate the development and execution of brand marketing programs ensuring assigned brand(s) achieve their corporate volume and brand contribution objectives by working cross functionally with key business areas. Coordinate brand volume budget and volume forecast updates, monitoring performance against brand P&L.



- WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Understand the consumer target and consumer journey. Deliver effective and persuasive consumer communications for the brand portfolio(s), working cross-functionally with both internal and external partners to ensure creative objectives that drive purchase intent and appeal.
  • Ensure that the assigned brand(s) are competitive in the marketplace by working cross-functionally to test products against action standards, recommending changes to Senior Leadership as needed.
  • Work with category leader in developing short term tactical plans and long-term strategic plans to align brand objectives to overall business objectives.
  • Support the development of the marketing plans and quarterly business reviews in Core and Non-Core geographies by identifying the key issues and strategies for the plan and execute the brand plan.
  • Recommend business building programs to the Sr Leadership by identifying opportunities that will generate incremental volume to the company.
  • Analyze retail sales performance nationally and geographically and raise issues/concerns to Senior Leadership. Track actual wholesale volume against budget and provide monthly forecast adjustment.
  • Own the brand P&L, with a focus on profitable and sustainable growth. Monitor brand spending to ensure it does not exceed budget by analyzing actual costs versus the budget and recommending adjustments.
  • Manage relationships and direct agency partners on equity and brand-building strategies, campaigns, activations, and events to ensure alignment with short term and long-term commercial, category, and brand plans.
  • Work cross brand, cross department, and cross functionally (Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Insights & Intelligence, etc.) to drive accountability and deliver business objectives.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field of study and 5+ years relevant work experience.
  • o In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, 7+ years relevant work experience.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

Knowledge of:

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams.
  • Regulated products such as alcohol, tobacco, energy drinks, etc.
  • Consumer packaged goods
  • Consumer marketing

Skilled in:

  • Verbal and written communication
  • Attention to detail

  • Effective time and task management
  • Multitasking capabilities
  • Flexibility and adaptability

Travel domestically.


- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field of study.

Work Environment and Physical Demand

  • Requires moderate physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves objects up to 10 lbs.
  • Walks, sits, or stands for extended periods.
  • Requires prolonged machine operation including vehicle, computer, and keyboard equipment.
