The role
Join our global transformation journey as a Business Process Lead – a critical connector between our Business Process Leads (BPLs), System Integrators (SI), and IT teams. The BPL plays a key role in enabling successful S/4HANA adoption by facilitating technical discussions, maintaining design integrity, and raising SAP knowledge within the business. What You’ll Do: Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership throughout design, build, deployment, and testing. Translate business requirements into scalable solutions while protecting the integrity of the global process template. Review and support partner functional specifications and configurations. Analyze system defects and guide resolution strategies. Provide quality oversight across all phases of the program. Contribute expertise across testing, training, data, reporting, and business change. Collaborate on tools, frameworks, and delivery plans that drive efficiency and adoption.
Key accountabilities
Key Responsibilities & Decisions: Ensure stage gate criteria are met for the Source to Pay process in the U.S. market deployment. Guide and drive adoption of the Global Template across U.S. markets and factories (excluding LFRs). Co-create readiness and engagement plans with local teams to support change management. Lead workshops, playbacks, and “Day in the Life” sessions to build end-user confidence and readiness. Enable global functions to transition into the Target Operating Model, including adoption of new roles and controls. Drive data quality standards that empower end-to-end business insights and a single source of truth. Skills & experience
Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of typical business processes within the CPG/Tobacco industry. Experience with S/4HANA, specifically in: Source-to-Pay processes Business Partner and Material Master data Supplier collaboration Previous experience in a similar role on a program of comparable scale and scope (e.g., Unify). Ability to understand how functional requirements translate into technical solutions within S/4HANA. Skilled in reviewing and approving: Technical designs provided by the System Integrator (e.g., RICEFW functional specifications, configuration specifications for standard S/4 settings) Functional interface designs with external systems Ability to assess and approve data requirements to support functional design, including reviewing outputs from SI Functional Data Analysts. Capable of managing and approving changes to functional/technical designs due to localizations or defects discovered during testing. Proficient in supporting business users through testing, cutover, and hypercare, including guidance and coordination with the SI team.
