In this role, the Global Procurement Indirect Buyer will deliver innovative, timely, and efficient procurement solutions that create value and streamline processes to support ITG Brand’s corporate spend and will ensure maximum value delivered for every dollar spent while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory, stakeholder and supplier requirements.  The Global Procurement Indirect Buyer will work within ITG Brand’s systems and support the Global Procurement global and regional perimeter leveraging systems and resources to achieve goals and objectives locally, regionally, and globally and will have the ability to develop and maintain “Business Partner” relationships with stakeholders in the perimeter.

 

Job Requirements

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Delivery of objectives utilizing Procurement Processes including demand planning, source to contract processes, supplier relationship management, and contract management to manage risk and cost expectations.
  • Responsible for delivering commercial agreements which optimize value for money and managed risk areas.
  • Adhere to procurement policies and processes to ensure risk is managed and compliance objectives achieved.
  • Responsible for ensuring early procurement engagement in significant spend areas to maximize procurement's impact.
  • Develop deep product and supplier knowledge to drive continuous improvement within the spend managed.
  • Utilization of risk management analysis and mitigation activities for key suppliers/services managed
  • Develop peer relationships and continually work with key stakeholders ensuring that commercial delivery and internal service are equally balanced.
  • Undertake adequate analysis and planning to enable effective supplier negotiations that deliver a world-class cost base.
  • Responsible for tracking benefits managed.
  • Create, manage, and execute procurement strategies to achieve business targets.
  • Assist stakeholders in the development of specifications for goods and services to be delivered.
  • Invite, assess, and award/recommend supplier tenders, bids, quotations, and proposals.
  • Ensure documentation standards are adhered to for all suppliers.
  • Manage relationships and performance of ongoing suppliers.
  • Administer contract performance evaluation.
  • Reconcile or resolve value discrepancies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Economics Finance, or related field of study with 5 years of experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with procurement platforms.
  • Understanding of end-to-end procurement processes covering demand management, source to contract, supplier relationship management, and contract management.
  • Experience in procurement focused on indirect categories.
  • Experienced in negotiating high-value services and materials.
  • Experience in planning, organizing, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience creating, leading, and implementing projects.
  • Experience with SAP (or similar systems).
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong numerical and financial analysis abilities.
  • Adapt to working in both team and individual environments.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Clear and concise communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
  • Adapt to dealing with stakeholders on varied levels.
  • Skilled at interpreting legal contracts.
