ITG Brands carries at its core, the mindset that, in order to succeed, a company must treat its people well and give them the tools they need to win.  We are currently searching for a Manager, Continuous Improvement for our Operations facility located in Greensboro, North Carolina.

 

In this role, you will work with and report directly to the Executive Vice President of Operations to layout and lead the Lean Agenda in Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain and Leaf Operations, based upon the Lean Guiding Principles (Lean Leadership Capabilities) and the Lean Six-Sigma problem-solving techniques, aimed to develop Lean capabilities and skills in the organization in order to deliver operational excellence through a continuous improvement culture.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Build and lead the Lean Agenda for every department, with specific milestones and objectives, using the Lean Maturity Index (LMI) as the guiding framework.
  • Develop and maintain the Lean Dashboard.
  • Develop and Lead the Lean Audit in order to assess the LMI score.
  • Create and lead the Lean Skills and Behaviors Development Program, aimed to foster Lean Leadership skills and Lean Basic skills on RCA, Problem-Solving, and Kaizen.
  • Lead and coordinate the overall Visual Performance Management System based on the MBU concept at levels 3/2/1.
  • Leads the Overall Factory Performance Dashboard.
  • Leads the Hoshin-Kanri Program Annually.
  • Develop and lead the overall 6S program by Department in Greensboro (NC) Danville (VA) and Tampa (FL).
  • Lead most critical RCA and Problem-Solving Projects in the factory: OEE, Waste
  • Develop and lead the 8-Wastes Improvement Program by Department.

 

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related disciplines with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, change management and/or organizational effectiveness in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to strategically and tactically evaluate and implement sophisticated continuous improvement and organizational development-related programs and initiatives in all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others and lead cross-functional teams in order to drive results through culture change and empowerment of people.
  • Must be able to work with a variety of organizational leadership tools to build consensus around improvement strategies and tactics
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills are required, as well as proven organizational skills, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to understand complex manufacturing systems.
  • Ability and willingness to work a varied schedule, as needed, to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation.

 

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Advanced degree in organizational development, lean management, industrial engineering, operations management, or related field.
  • Lean leader, Master Black Belt Lean certified.
  • Experience in FDA regulated environment a plus.

COMPENSATION

  • The salary range for this position is $111,000 - $148,000
