ITG Brands carries at its core, the mindset that, in order to succeed, a company must treat its people well and give them the tools they need to win.  We are currently searching for a National Account Manager for ITG Brands Field Sales. This position will ideally be located in Dallas, TX or Bentonville, AR and work from a home office.

 

In this role, you will work with and report directly to a National Accounts Director to develop and lead a collaborative and strategic partnership with national customers across multiple fronts, including consumer insights, collaborative customer marketing, industry relations, issues and policies, sales technology, and category management. Lead ITG Brands representation at the headquarters of national customer accounts and be responsible for development of strategic relations, business plans, and execution that impacts performance across all the accounts’ sectors. Account for oversight and involvement in activities that create a sustainable competitive advantage for ITG Brands.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Engage with ITG Brands’ Sales leadership to share key customer requirements and identify opportunities for leverage across ITG Brands.
  • Implement national customer development strategies and plans with a formal joint business planning (JBP) process at account. Be accountable for delivering assigned sales key performance indicators (KPIs) and key sales and brand initiatives across strategic customer accounts.
  • Identify and pursue incremental opportunities to shape the customer’s current and future business practices to grow ITG Brands share while strengthening ITG Brands as a preferred vendor partner.
  • Sell and gain commitment to the annual JBP with customer alignment to ITG Brands 18-month planning horizon that delivers on the assigned sales KPIs – volume, distribution, share, and other key brand initiative objectives.
  • Customize and link ITG Brands strategies, plans, and key initiatives with the customer’s key strategies and tactical plans. Measure and enforce all requirements of our retail partnership agreements to ensure they are being maintained by retail stores.
  • Maximize effectiveness of all merchandising fixtures/displays to present a competitive merchandising advantage at retail Coordinate communication between the customer and ITG Brands’ sales organization.
  • Solicit and report customer and competitive insights to identify critical sales opportunities and provide solutions to HQ Collaborate with internal Customer Marketing and Brand Marketing teams on initiative plan development and execution details.
  • Collaborate with key functional stakeholders (Commercial Finance, Customer Service, Regulatory) on matters pertaining to assigned strategic customers.
  • Interact with top ITG Brands Sales leadership regarding all aspects of the customer annual business plans.
  • Motivate and empower all Regional Sales team members to deliver executional excellence at assigned accounts.
  • Build organizational excellence by driving customer understanding internally across key ITG Brands functions.

Job Requirements

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • National or regional customer management experience within the broader customer products industry.
  • Experience selling to convenience channels, mass, wholesale, and/or specialty tobacco channels.
  • Sales, management experience preferred with a demonstrated successful performance history in positions held 3-years or greater.
  • Demonstrates decision making, management, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in planning, organizing, and managing programs independently.
  • Highly competent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license issued from state which employed.
  • BS/BA degree preferred.
  • Education, experiences, training and certifications will be considered and may in some circumstances be acceptable in lieu of a BS/BA degree.

COMPENSATION AND ITG BRANDS FIELD SALES INCENTIVE PLAN

  • Base salary of $97,500 to $156,000; eligible for annual Sales Incentive Plan target of $20,000.
