Job Description

•         Partner with assigned regional customers to drive alignment between ITGB and customer objectives.

•         Form a strong partnership with customer’s senior management and present a holistic view of ITGB across all product categories.

•         Engage with customer marketing teams to share key customer requirements and identify opportunities for leverage within accounts.

•         Implement customer development strategies and plans creating a joint business plan (JBP) process with customers.

•         Identify and pursue incremental opportunities to shape the customer’s current and future business practices to grow ITGB’s market share while strengthening ITGB partnerships.

•         Sell and maintain effective retail partnership agreements in retail stores.

•         Develop selling plans that resonate with customers and encompasses all ITGB’s product categories.

•         Collaborate with Area, Region, and Division resources to identify sales opportunities that can be acted upon to drive sales performance.

•         Sell and gain commitment to the customer JBP that deliver on the assigned sales key performance indicators (KPIs) – of volume, distribution, share, and other initiatives.

•         Customize and link ITGB’s strategies, plans, and key initiatives with the customer’s strategies and tactical plans.

•         Deliver assigned sales KPIs and sales and brand initiatives across all customer accounts.

•         Measure and direct team resources to maximize time allocation on a store by store basis to meet productivity objectives.

•         Ensure alignment to retail cycle plan coverage objectives and overall coverage model parameters.

•         Work with Sales Representatives to optimize assignment coverage designs to maximize retail activity time in achieving strategic objectives.

•         Measure and enforce all requirements of our retail partnership agreements in assigned retail stores.

•         Maximize effectiveness of all merchandising fixtures/displays to present a competitive merchandising advantage at retail.

•         Deploy retail execution guidelines and key objectives to ITGB’s sales organization to maximize in-store sales results.

•         Coordinate communication between the customer and ITGB’s sales organization.

•         Solicit and report customer and competitive insights to identify critical sales opportunities and provide solutions to HQ.

•         Partner with ITGB’s Insights team to customize and align category leadership and business drivers in all selling materials.

•         Collaborate with internal customer marketing and Brand Marketing teams on creative plan development and execution details.

•         Collaborate with key functional stakeholders (Commercial Finance, Customer Service, Regulatory, etc.) on matters pertaining to customers and consumers.

•         Interact with Area management regarding all aspects of the customer business plans and address issues and opportunities.

Job Requirements

•          BS/BA degree preferred.

•          Education, experiences, training and certifications will be considered and may in some circumstances be acceptable in lieu of a BS/BA degree.

•          Regional customer management experience within the broader consumer products industry.

•          Experience selling to convenience channels, mass, wholesale, and/or specialty tobacco channels.

•          Sales management experience preferred.

•          Must be 21 years of age or older.

•          Must possess a valid driver’s license issued from state in which employed.
