We are seeking a Sales Systems Director to be positioned at our headquarters, located in Greensboro, NC.


In this role, you will report to the Senior Director of Customer Marketing & Planning. You will lead the ITG Brands enterprise sales CRM platform (SFA) and drive future evolution of the platform towards industry best standards. As custodian of the sales business platforms, you will also be integrated at the strategic level as a key partner of the commercial leadership team, field sales leadership and engage in the Planning/JBP process. You will be responsible for driving thought leadership and inspiring innovative solution to drive efficiency within and outside the system – collaborating with Insights & Intelligence, Brand Marketing, Field Sales and IT. You will lead a team of subject matter experts (working closely with IT) to execute on day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of ITG Brands sales system (SFA).




  • Lead the overall applications architecture, design, development, maintenance, and implementation of the ITG Brands Sales CRM system (SFA) and future evolutions of the platform.


  • Translate the commercial intent of Brand/Sales programs and drive seamless adjustments to adapt SFA sales system to meet all field sales needs as requested.


  • Plan SFA processes & change in line with business requirements, Trade Promotions Management (TPM), pricing decisions around buydowns,discounts and merchandising payments.


  • Anticipate long-term requirements and seek enhancements to the CRM platforms beyond existing capabilities to address unforeseen business challenges.


  • Provide systems point of view in the strategic planning and Joint Business Planning (JBP) processes.


  • Maintaining balance and system coherence between ITG Brands frontline (Sales Rep & Account Manager) environment and back-end processing functions.


  • Lead the team to address all field sales and account management issues to enable flawless delivery in ITG Brands sales objectives. This includes, changes to customer hierarchy, promotional template management, outlet ownership changes, sales territory realignment, customer payments and performance reports.


  • Lead a team of experts to provide both technical system expertise but also back-end analytical data in support of the Sales and Insights & Intelligence functions.


  • Engage with Field Sales leadership team and coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.


  • Lead the team to manage all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks.


  • Lead and complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades as required.


  • Work with cross functional teams to establish suitable processes (ways of working) to support administrative, development, and change management activities.


  • Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for new process implementation.


  • Work with IT to develop and implement all policies and procedures for ITGB frontline sales environment, including those for architecture, security, standards, and service provision.


  • Manage the training of new users, and grow the required skill set across the ITG Brands organization especially as the system evolves.


  • Lead, coach and develop direct reports while exemplifying the ITG Brands Leadership Expectations.


Job Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in Information Systems or related major with 7 years related experience.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in systems development.
  • Competent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in planning, organizing, prioritizing, and managing programs independently.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Travel is between 16 to 50 days/year.
  • In and out of an automobile during Field contacts requires standing, walking, bending and lifting (20-30 lbs) is required
