ITG Brands carries at its core, the mindset that, in order to succeed, a company must treat its people well and give them the tools they need to win.  We are currently searching for a Senior SAP Functional Analyst (SD) in our Corporate Office located in Greensboro, North Carolina.

 

Job Summary:

The Senior SAP Functional Analyst plays a major role by engaging directly with Client Services, Supply Chain, IT Management, and other business teams to deliver high-quality solutions and support for the Sales and Distribution module of SAP.  Takes the lead in analyzing core business processes and designing recommended improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in collaboration with business stakeholders and adjacent IT team members. 

 

This position will research and resolve production support issues, develop functional specifications from business requirements, provide technical support, coordinate development, and contribute to a broad system strategy within the IT Supply Chain Management team.

 

Prepares and maintains project plans, develops specifications, performs configuration, establishes and executes test plans, prepares documentation, and assists in end-user training to meet required business objectives.

  • Be an authority in SAP SD area of specialization and analyze customer requirements and tailor the use of the system to meet those objectives while aligning with longer-term strategic roadmaps.
  • Advises business partners on the implications of standard or new SAP solutions that can be applied to a problem.
  • Implements solutions of small to moderate scope with varying complexity by engaging with business process key stakeholders, performing related necessary research, preparing comprehensive documentation, supervising the implementation effort as required, and developing training materials and delivering training classes.
  • The configuration of SAP and the development and execution of test plans.
  • Work to identify process improvements resulting from support issues, with the goal of minimizing recurring support.
  • Develops and maintains project plans as appropriate based on departmental standards. Utilize automated project management tools; defining tasks, effort, and resources necessary to complete assigned projects. Estimates work based on high-level requirements, defines business cases, and determines resource requirements.
  • Maintains a high level of functional competency regarding standard SAP SD configuration including support and enhancement packs. Drives knowledge transfer with the SAP team; documents and shares best practices, templates, and other work products.
  • Collaborates with peers and developers to achieve desired end-results for complex projects or problems by delivering scalable business process solutions.
  • Meets all assignment due dates by coordinating activities, handling multiple assignments, and keeping project supervisor and/or Application Development Manager informed of any circumstance that could prevent completion of an assignment or project on schedule.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

 

 

Position-Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Production support of the existing SD software solution with possibly additional support for NetSuite as needed.
  • Thoroughly understand the underlying database relationships for the SAP SD module and corresponding data dictionary elements.
  • Evaluate the impact of minor changes to existing business process interfaces, obtain approvals on interface changes, and implement/support the changes.
  • Coordinate implementations with User and Developer resources to ensure a smooth and successful implementation, and support development and testing with users and the SAP Support Team.
  • Understand the capabilities of the SD module and its inter-relationships with the other related modules of the SAP ERP environment, including Logistics Execution (LE), Materials Management (MM), and Financials (FI).
  • Understand the capabilities of the SD module and its inter-relationships with the other dependent non-SAP systems, including Sales Force Automation (SFA), Business-to-Business (B2B), Sales Portal reporting, and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
  • Support the system analysis, design, and programming/configuration for any SD configuration modifications or custom reporting modifications resulting from changes to existing business processes.

 

 

 

 

Required Minimum Qualifications:

 

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED and 9+ years related work experience or
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related field of study with 5+ years related work experience

 

 

Knowledge of:

  • SAP and System Analysis
  • Two (2) or more SAP modules
  • Advanced to Expert level Excel and Data Analysis skills
  • Microsoft Office Professional or similar application

Preferred Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Experience with manufacturing or Consumer Packaged Goods a plus.
  • Expertise in one or more adjacent SAP modules would be valuable.
  • Experience supporting multiple SAP implementations desired but not required.

 

Work Environment and Physical Demand:

 

  • Requires light physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves light objects (under 10 lbs.).
  • Reach and grasp objects / Hand-eye coordination
  • Walks, sits, or stands for prolonged periods.
  • Use of manual dexterity and fine motor skills
  • Requires prolonged machine operation including computer and keyboard equipment.

COMPENSATION

  • The salary range for this position is $84,000 - $112,000
