Understanding the HRA and the HSA

If you are in the Copay, Basic or Out-of-Area Plan, the Company will open a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) on your behalf. If you are in the Health Savings Plan (HSP), you are eligible to open a Health Savings Account (HSA). Both the HRA and the HSA are administered by Optum.

The Company will credit up to $250 each to your HSA or HRA (for your and your enrolled spouse) for completing the Wellness Program activities described on page 8. And if you are a Health Savings Plan Participant, starting in 2019 the Company will make an annual Company contribuition - credited to your HSA - of $500 (for Employee Only coverage) of $1,000 (for all other coverage tiers). The contribution will be prorated in your year of hire.
